What We Did

About Our Trip

For three months, three young women tested their endurance, determination and skill, using human power to traverse the Southern Alps from the bottom to the top of the North. The expedition covered around 1600kms, passing through some of the most wild, untouched landscape this country has to offer.

We tramped through totally wild areas in Southland and Fiordland, climbing over some snow capped peaks and scaling some fantastic alpine rock routes. We paddled three of New Zealand's most memorable lakes (Hauroko, Manapouri and Te Anau), walked some of our most famous tracks (such as The Dusky Track, the Keppler and the Routeburn) and crossed 21 amazing alpine passes (such as Broderick and Rabbit), and crossed the Tasmin Glacier.
